Hoopman Equipment & Engineering b.v. delivers several sizes of powder supply machinery. One of the most common Powder Feeder is the PFR60, which is specially made for the PCL940 conventional pelleting process. The paddle in the feeder sustains a continuous mixing process so the blend will not be unmixed. An auger transports the powder into the coating machine with a homogeneous flow.
For the rotary coater systems we normally integrate the powder feeders with the mixing chamber. This means that the powder will not be supplied on top of the mixing chamber, but goes into the mixing chamber at the side behind the mixing product. This way there is less dust during the application, but there is also a good mixing process.
For fully automatic systems we also deliver bespoke pre weighing and feeding systems for the powders to be supplied. The powders will be pre weighed and put into the powder feeder for application. Ask us for more information about this bespoke systems.
